Concept previews for 86Borders

Three ways we could build 86Borders’ new website.

Pick the one that feels right.

Each direction below is a real, live website you can click into and explore, in English and Spanish. All three share the same facts and the same six pages. What changes is how they look, move and feel.

StreetscapeRisograph print in navy, orange and paper

From pick #15 of the first sketch round, a risograph clip of a neighborhood

Streetscape

A walk through the places where care gets stuck.

What it is

A two-color risograph print come to life. Navy type and hand-drawn neighborhood places, a bus stop, a pharmacy, a front porch and a market, sit straight on grainy paper, with no boxes or cards. One orange line runs from place to place as the visitor scrolls, and ends in a heart.

How it feels

Quiet, human and easy to walk through: a health plan sees where 86Borders’ Care Coordinators meet members before reading a word about the measures.

Inside the live site

  • A big navy wordmark header with plain links and one navy pill
  • The six published outcomes as large navy figures, each with its plan type
  • Interior pages that run the line down a lane of ring-marked sections

RoundelsTwo-ink riso poster in cream, navy and orange

From pick #5 of the first sketch round, a two-color riso still

Roundels

Neighborhood scenes in orange rings, on one looping line.

What it is

Bold, flat two-ink scenes, a pharmacy, a bus stop, a porch window and a market, each framed in a thick orange ring on cream paper and joined by one looping line that leaves from the Talk to us pill. Heavy rounded capitals, chunky orange pills, and an orange ink printed a hair off register, like a poster from a neighborhood print shop.

How it feels

Friendly and confident, with the energy of a community poster. The navigation sits behind a single menu icon, so the page belongs to the pictures.

Inside the live site

  • The four-step model and the five populations as roundels on looping lines
  • A values row of hand-drawn outline icons
  • The six published outcomes as navy figures with orange underline loops

CollageEarthy scrapbook of photo prints, notes and color

From pick #10 of the first sketch round, an earthy collage still

Collage

A scrapbook of everyday moments, put together by hand.

Visit the live site: Collage

What it is

Photo prints with white borders dropped on at slight angles, soft terracotta, sage, slate and sand shapes bleeding off the edges, handwritten notes in little speech bubbles and dashed arrows between the pieces. A warm, bookish serif for headlines, a column of plain links down the left, and a dark mode in deep warm umber.

How it feels

Warm, personal and photographic. People come first, at home, at the clinic and on the porch, and the notes read as finished tasks, like “ride booked for Tuesday”.

Inside the live site

  • Handwritten notes written as completed actions, never quotes
  • The six published outcomes as pinned paper notes
  • Every photo labeled as a representative image

Representative images, not real members or staff

Tell us which one feels right.

Choose one as it stands, combine parts of two, or ask for changes to any of them. A few lines are enough to start.

Pricing is determined case by case, based on the complexity of the final site and other factors.
